Battersea Ironsides Minis RFC was formed in 1995 by a group of parents with the aim of providing facilities for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 to learn to play the game and develop their skills. Having gained the necessary coaching qualification the parents affiliated the mini club to the senior club, Battersea Ironsides RFC, and to the Rugby Football Union.

Today the Minis and Juniors section of BIRFC is a leading club in Surrey RFU and has a good turnout at every year group, we welcome youths of 17 and some micros start having fun with the ball from the age of 4.
