03/01/2008 - BIRFC is incorporated
As from 19/12/07 we have been incorporated under an almost standard RFU constitution, legal services were kindly provided gratis by Edwin Coe Solicitors. The Industrial and Provident Society is called Battersea Ironsides Rugby Football Club Limited regulated by the FSA with a co-operative type of structure - one member one vote.
The Constitution working group are currently working on adjusting the new constitution to allow the merger of the Minis/Juniors into BIRFC Ltd to form one club. The combined club will have a general commitee elected by the members in General Meeting and Seniors and Juniors/Minis Sections with thier own section commitees. -- Constitution Working Group: Aubrey Botsford, Chairman.
